Introducing the 2006 Bend Venture Conference Investor Panel
September 13, 2006-BEND, OR- The 2006 Bend Venture Conference is pleased announce that a powerful team of business leaders from across the West will again participate in this year’s investor panel. As in past conferences, the investor panel provides feedback to presenting companies on their business strategy and gives the audience a perspective on the critical factors experienced investors look for when considering the early stage market.
BVC will select four to six start-up companies seeking seed stage investment to present to this elite panel. Panel members include Dan Eilers, General Partner, Vanguard Ventures; Wayne Embree, Managing Partner, Cascadia Partners; Gordon Hoffman, Managing Director, Northwest Technology Ventures, LP; Eric Rosenfeld, Managing Partner, Capybara Ventures; Dino Vendetti, General Partner, Formative Ventures; and Denny Weston, Senior Managing Director, Fluke Venture Partners.
“We’re really thrilled with this year’s panel,” states Karen Fast, BVC Chair. “Each individual brings a wealth of experience and knowledge which will greatly benefit budding entrepreneurs.”
In addition, conference attendees will enjoy a discussion by Structus Building Technologies, a Bend based business. Bill Scannell, President, and Tim Smythe, Founder & CEO, will share how they have successfully grown their company based on an innovative product line.
The early registration fee is $149, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch and a post-conference cocktail party. Deadline for early registration to the conference is September 15th. Registration fees will increase to $199 after that date.
Applications for start-up companies looking to present in front of this year’s panel are due by September 15th. Fees are only $195 and include admission to the day-long conference.
