2005 Bend Venture Conference Overview

Tim Boyle, President and CEO of Columbia Sportswear Company, provided the keynote presentation. 

A panel of experienced and influential investors provided useful information on current investment criteria, areas of focus and deal killers. 

The conference also featured a capnote presentation by Mark Powell, Chairman and founder of HouseValues, Inc., Robert Wiltbank, a noted authority on angel investing, spoke on the "Performances and Practices of Angel Investing" and three Central Oregon companies will shared their success stories.

Six well-qualified entrepreneurs pitched their companies, getting feedback from our investor panel and questions from the audience. 

This year, 300 people watched first hand as experienced entrepreneurs pitched themselves and their business.
